The USS Milwaukee visited just outside the Port Washington WI breakwater on a beautiful Sunday morning in mid-November 2015.

The date was November 15, 2015 at 10am. Coal Dock Park was jam packed with people eager to get a few minute glimpse while she slowed down to salute just outside the harbor. While the USS Milwaukee passed by, a 21 gun salute rang out, followed by a magical rendition of Taps. From Port Washington, the USS Milwaukee headed on down to Milwaukee for the Commissioning Ceremony taking place November 21, 2015 before she heads out to sea.
