The West Slip in Port Washington WI is one of my favorite places to shoot a sunrise. I like using the framing of the buildings in the composition of the shot. Fortunately, the buildings also provide a good wind break which is handy on chilly mornings.  This particular morning it was about 17 degrees at sunrise but the sunrise was just too beautiful and I had to venture out and catch it.
