Huge waves on Lake Michigan were pounding the breakwater in Port Washington WI. On a late February day a blizzard hit the eastern side of Lake Michigan bringing snow to Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.  Wisconsin was on the northern and westerly edge of the blizzard and escaped the snow.  Winds were very strong out of the northeast gusting into the 45-50pmg range for much of the day. “On the Edge” North Beach, Port Washington, WI., January 15, 2016 I call this shoot “On the Edge” as I was literally on the edge of Lake Michigan for all these shots.  At one point when some higher waves reached up and grabbed me.  On the Edge also refers the natural elements of these images.  The sea and land meet.  Temperatures rise and dive, dancing above and below the freezing mark.
