Saukville Rebels vs Mequon Cardinals (Red)

The Saukville Rebels football team clashed with the Mequon / Thiensville Cardinals at Didier Field September 17, 2016 splitting the games 2-2.  The 5th grade and 8th grade teams lost, 6th and 7th both won. Hank Aaron State Trail Downtown Milwaukee

The Hank Aaron State Trail is a popular and fantastic public walkway that follows the downtown Milwaukee lakefront, near the Henry W Maier Festival Park west past Miller Park. In fact, you can see many important Milwaukee landmarks along it’s 12-mile route. December Milwaukee Lakefront Walk

An unusually warm December in Milwaukee continued with highs around 50 degrees mid-month.  I couldn’t think of a better reason to take an early evening walk along the public path behind the Harbor House restaurant on the lakefront.  Only one couple was out at that time, otherwise the area was empty.  Too bad, it was a great night. Canadian Pacific Holiday Train Milwaukee Stop 2015

The 17th annual Canadian Pacific Holiday Train rolled through Wisconsin December 4-5, 2015 with 12 scheduled stops.  The Milwaukee stop was scheduled for 6:50pm, December 4th at the Amtrack station.  Thousands of people lined up early and holiday revelers young and old enjoyed the lights and live music. Rebels Ground the Owls

The 6th grade Saukville Rebels beat the Slinger Owls 19-6 on an unusually warm end of October morning. The Rebels were in control from start to finish with Slinger scoring their lone touchdown in the last two minutes. The Rebels players were announced prior to kickoff having their names and numbers announced to an enthusiastic crowd. Hard to believe the season is over next week.
